South is one of the best places to hang out in Santa Monica. This is a great place for happy hour and they always seem to have drink and/or food specials. The bar tenders are all very nice and it is fast service. None of that Hollywood, crap of taking your time, pick the people you want to serve and make people wait. The places does get crowded but not so bad where you cannot move.

At south you’ll get authentic Southern food and classic cocktails and beers, all served with the friendly hospitality. No matter if you want a sit down dinner with family and friends or just want a drink while you watch the game, you will always be welcome here. South also has got great music, private rooms, and plenty of outdoor space to soak in the California sun (or moon!).
